Fermented Cucumbers

I have a lot of cucumbers.
I dare say that I have TOO MANY cucumbers.

Lately, I've been eating about 4 a week and while I love them, I need to find something ELSE to do with them.

I turned to Nourishing Traditions for help.

1. Choose 4 or 5 cucumbers and slice 'em up.
2. You will also need water, sea salt, whey, dill seed, and mustard seed. I do not like the taste of mustard so I did not use this ingredient. I mean, I don't even have it in my house.
3. Put cukes in jars.
3.5 Mix 1 cup water with 2T salt, 2T dill, and 4T whey.
4. Pour mixture over cukes. Add more water to cover the cucumbers and set jars on the counter for 2 days and then transfer to cold storage.
